Recreation & Events

Throughout the year, MRT, the Cold Creek Docents and other authorized groups provide recreational opportunities, including nature walks, Youth Naturalist Programs, Discovery Nature Camp, photography workshops and much more.

The Santa Monica Mountains and Malibu Creek State Park also offer miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails.

HEADWATERS CORNER HABITAT RESTORATION

Restoring the headwater ecosystem of the Los Angeles River offers a special, unique experience for groups, individuals and families wanting to make a difference. Join in the community effort to restore this aspect of our area's ecosystem.

Projects for schools, youth organizations, and individuals are welcomed and need not be on scheduled activity days. Please RSVP if you plan to attend any of the restoration projects.
