Developing public awareness and educational outreach programs are essential to land conservation and a healthy environment now and in the future.

MRT offers outreach programs and events designed to educate children and adults about proper natural resource stewardship and passive recreation. These fun programs also review cultural and historical resources of the Santa Monica Mountains.

MRT's workshops, programs and publications encourage residents and visitors to 'live lightly' in the mountains by implementing nature-wise concepts to help maintain the area's natural beauty.
